At present, the Baise aluminum industry has a production capacity of 21 million tons/year of bauxite, 8.4 million tons of alumina per year, 1.87 million tons of electrolytic aluminum per year (500,000 tons under construction) and 3.2 million tons of aluminum processing. Earth-alloy-aluminum-electrolytic aluminum-aluminum deep processing--aluminium industry chain of aluminum application is basically formed. The supporting industries are increasingly perfect, with the production capacity of 280,000 tons/year of caustic soda, 2.9 million tons of lime per year, and 1.185 million tons of carbon per year. Hetai Technology 60,000 tons / year of aluminum fluoride, Chinalco Guangxi Branch 500,000 tons / year red mud comprehensive utilization projects completed and put into production, the aluminum industry supporting the caustic soda, carbon, lime, fluoride and other industries are basically perfect, The aluminum industry cluster has gradually formed.


From January to May this year, the production and operation of the aluminum industry in the whole city showed an overall stable, stable and stable trend, and accelerated the momentum. The alumina output was 3.386 million tons, up 3% year-on-year; the output of electrolytic aluminum was 698,000 tons, up 49.3% year-on-year. The output of aluminum processing was 453,000 tons, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year. In the first half of this year, it is estimated that the alumina output will be 4.061 million tons, the electrolytic aluminum output will be 850,000 tons, and the aluminum processing will be 575,000 tons. The carbon production of supporting industries was 268,000 tons, the output of caustic soda was 149,000 tons, and the output of lime was 703,000 tons.


Tang Huaying, chief engineer of the Municipal Industry and Information Bureau, said that at present, the second 100 billion yuan layout of the “Second Venture” of Baise Aluminum Industry has been completed. “This year, our four coal-electricity aluminum integration projects will be put into operation, and 900,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum production capacity will be released. At the same time, Baishui Runtai’s 500,000 tons aluminum deep processing project, and Geely Technology’s cooperation in automobile lightweight project It will be a major breakthrough in our extension of the industrial chain, and also provide strong support for us to achieve the second goal of 100 billion." Tang Huaying said, "Next, we will be oriented to the terminal application of aluminum, focusing on aluminum for transportation, packaging The use of aluminum and electronic aluminum to introduce leading domestic and international aluminum precision processing enterprises and projects to promote the high-quality development of Guangxi Baise eco-aluminum industry demonstration base."
